New York-based Business Insider, has announced top 20 gorgeous natural wonders around the world, including two Vietnamese tourism sites, Phong Nha-Ke Bang National Park and Ha Long Bay.

The newspaper said that Phong Nha-Ke Bang National Park, located in the middle of the Annamite Mountain Range in Quang Binh province is home to the oldest karst (or landscapes formed from soluble rocks and characterized by caves and sinkholes) formations in Asia. Phong Nha-Kẻ Bàng is noted for its cave and grotto systems as it is composed of 300 caves and grottos. A 2009 survey brought the total discovered length of the cave system to about 126 km,with many areas still not well explored. The Sơn Đoòng Cave, which was discovered in the 2009 survey by British and Vietnamese explorers, is considered the largest cave in the world. Even before this discovery, Phong Nha held several world cave records, including the longest underground river as well as the largest combined caverns and passageways.

Phong Nha Ke Bang has recently been the most favorite destination in not only Vietnam but also Southeast Asia. You now can easily visit the park and its cave system with 1 day tour to even 5 days tours, ranging from easy trekking tour to hard trekking tour exploring Son Doong cave. Tours to Phong Nha Ke Bang includes exploring Phong Nha Cave by boat, visiting Paradise Cave, in the heart of the National Park, see the spectacular jungle scenery & fascinating limestone formations of the karst mountains, swimming in clear turquoise rivers overhung by jungle greenery, investigating the extensive network of unspoilt caves that make up one of Asia’s largest cave systems, getting further in to Paradise cave than the tourist route, observing the varied wild life – you may even come across a troop of rare Black Langur monkeys.

Ha Long Bay, in the Gulf of Tonkin off the coast of northern Vietnam, is made up of about 1,600 islands and islets of limestone pillars. According to UNESCO, a majority of the islands are uninhabited by people due to their extremely steep nature. The best way to visit Ha Long Bay is joining in an over night cruise tour since you will have time for cruising, cave exploring, kayaking and relaxing. If you love kayking and want more relaxing time, we recommend 2 nights cruise tour to kayak and swimming in the wild Lan Ha Bay. If you have more time, Cat Ba island nearby is a perfect destination for riding bike along the coast, trekking through Cat Ba national park, visiting fishing village and of course relaxing on the beach.
