Day 1: Hanoi arrival – Hanoi City Tour - Half Day (Meals: None)
Upon arrival at Noi Bai International airport, our representative will welcome you and transfer to hotel in the center of Old Quarter. Free at your leisure until afternoon for our half day tour.
Temple of Literature – Explore the Old Quarter on Cyclo – Water Puppet Show
Around 01.00 Pm, our guide will pick you up at your hotel and start the tour by a visit to Temple of literature, Founded in 1070 by Emperor Ly Thanh Tong, the Temple of Literature is consider as the first university of Vietnam. A rare example of well-preserved traditional Vietnamese architecture, the complex honours Vietnam’s finest scholars and men of literary accomplishment. It is the site of Vietnam’s first university, established here in 1076, when entrance was only granted to those of noble birth. In 1484 Emperor Ly Thanh Tong ordered that stelae be erected to record the names, places of birth and achievements of exceptional scholars: 82 of 116 stelae remain standing. UNESCO has recognised these 82 stelae as a Memory of the World. (You can choose alternative destination as following options: Women Museum/ Museum of Vietnamese History / Military Museum/ Art Museum). We will then visit Hoan Kiem Lake, the heart and soul of Hanoi, listen to the legend of the lake and learn more about history of the city. We start by a gentle walk across the old quarter to its biggest covered market. In case your hotel is located outside the old quarter, we will take a taxi for a short transfer. We take the time to walk around the bustling market, where about anything and everything can be bought. Exit the bazaar and hop on a Cyclo for a leisure ride around to the boundaries of central Hoan Kiem district. Walk to Thang Long Theater nearby and enjoy the tradition water puppet show, a Vietnamese tradition show reflecting local lifestyle and history through puppet performance. Transfer back to your hotel. End of services.
Day 2: Hanoi – Ha Long Bay overnight on boat (Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)
After your breakfast at hotel, our private car will pick you up and transferred to Halong bay on 3.5 hour ride. Arrive at Halong Bay, get on board, enjoy welcome drink, receive cruise briefing, check in cabin and begin your cruise. Enjoy your lunch – delicious Vietnamese set menu . Head deeper inside Ha Long Bay and visit the Floating fishing village. In this Floating fishing village you can visit by bamboo sampan for an hour or kayak in to the village then return to the Cruise for your leisure or join one of the following optional activities: Sunbathing, traditional massage, swimming etc. Participate in fun Vietnamese cooking demonstration showing how to make Vietnamese spring rolls. Sumptuous set-dinner onboard. Relaxing on your cabin or join the on board activities: film entertainment, light music for dancing in the dining room (please book in advance with your tour guide), board games and playing cards are available. You may also try your luck at squid fishing from the boat. Overnight on boat in Halong Bay.
Day 3: Halong Bay – Hanoi – Flight to Da Nang – Hoi An (Meals: Breakfast, Lunch)
Starting your day with Tai Chi on the Sundeck while complimentary tea & coffee are served. After your breakfast you will explore the Surprise Cave (Sung Sot Cave). Walk up about 100 steps to the cave entrance and tour the cave for approximately 45 minutes. Upon return to the boat you will have 30 minutes to freshen up and finish packing and checking out of your room by 10.00 AM. Enjoy Set Menu for lunch in the dining room. Relaxing on the sundeck or in the dining room, enjoying the rest of Halong bay before getting back to harbor. Arrive at Hon Gai Harbour. Transfer by tender to the pier. Get on your car and transfer to Noi Bai international airport, catch the flight to Danang city. Around 8.00 Pm, you will arrive at Da Nang airport and transfer to your hotel in Hoi An. Overnight in HoiAn.
Day 4: Explore Hoian Town on foot - Half Day (Meals: Breakfast)
Today we will star Hoian walking tour exploring this little town, a former port that welcomed Chinese, Dutch, French, Japanese, Portuguese and Arab merchants between the 16th to 18th centuries. The tour includes stops at several famous landmarks including Chua Ong Pagoda, Phuc Kien Assembly Hall, to see the Jinshang Temple which is dedicated to the goddess of the sea and the protector of sailors. From there it’s a short walk to Tam Ky House, a 200 year old ancestral house and finally, stroll across the often photographed 17th century covered bridge built by Japanese craftsmen. The beautifully built bridge doubles as a temple and is a major landmark of Hoi An. Walk back to your hotel and free at leisure on the rest of the day. Overnight in Hoi An.
Day 5: Biking to Tra Que – Farming & Fishing activities in Cam Thanh Village - Full Day (Meals: Breakfast, Lunch)
This tour will take you to Cam thanh villages, located next to Thu Bon river, with a lush Nipa forest spread over an area of several hundred hectares and hundreds of hidden channels tangled beneath the broad leaves, was the refuge for VC the war. Tra Que Village is a small vegetable village that supplys fresh herbs and vegetable for Hoi An Town and nowadays, visitors can not only enjoy the fresh air and beautiful scenery, but also have the opportunity to unite with the warm and peaceful life for these villagers.
Around 08.30 AM, our guide will pick you up at hotel lobby and we will departure by bicycle to Cam Thanh Village. The bicycle ride takes you through the peaceful green palm forest, provides countless opportunities for taking photos. We will arrive at a local house in Cam Thanh Village. We will then get on boat and participate in daily works of local fishermen such as rowing, fishing techniques… Stay relaxed at Mr. Phong house and enjoy a cup of green tea before wandering around the village to observe local lifestyle .
We will then continue our trip to Tra Que Village. The ride will go through vast rice fields before our stop at Ba Le market where locals exchange and trade their agriculture products. We arrive Mr. Chinh’s house around noontime. After enjoying a welcome drink, you will have a chance becoming a genuine farmer with Vietnamese traditional clothes, hat and tools. We will head to the farm and participate in different farming works that bring you unique experiences.
We come back to Mr. Chinh’s house and enjoy a traditional foot massage with herbs therapy that help you recover after working time on the field. The host will then prepare you a lunch that you can participate in cooking Vietnamese traditional foods. Enjoy your lunch in a warm atmosphere of a local farmer family.
We will then bike back to Hoi An town. On our way we will stop by Chuc Thanh pagoda, the oldest pagoda in Hoi An that was built in 1671 featured many beautiful bronze details and valuable antiques of 17-18 century. We arrive back to Hoi An town around 03.00 PM. Overnight in Hoi An.
Day 6: Hoi An Departure (Meals: Breakfast)
After having breakfast at your hotel, free at leisure until transfer to Danang international airport for your departure flight leaving Vietnam. End of services.
