Upon arrival at Noi Bai International airport, our driver will welcome you and transfer to hotel in the center of Old Quarter.
Around 01.00 Pm, our guide will pick you up at your hotel and start the tour by a visit to Temple of literature, Founded in 1070 by Emperor Ly Thanh Tong, the Temple of Literature is consider as the first university of Vietnam. A rare example of well-preserved traditional Vietnamese architecture, the complex honours Vietnam’s finest scholars and men of literary accomplishment. It is the site of Vietnam’s first university, established here in 1076, when entrance was only granted to those of noble birth. In 1484 Emperor Ly Thanh Tong ordered that stelae be erected to record the names, places of birth and achievements of exceptional scholars: 82 of 116 stelae remain standing. UNESCO has recognised these 82 stelae as a Memory of the World. (You can choose alternative destination as following options: Women Museum/ Museum of Vietnamese History / Military Museum/ Art Museum). We will then visit Hoan Kiem Lake, the heart and soul of Hanoi, listen to the legend of the lake and learn more about history of the city. We start by a gentle walk across the old quarter to its biggest covered market. In case your hotel is located outside the old quarter, we will take a taxi for a short transfer. We take the time to walk around the bustling market, where about anything and everything can be bought. Exit the bazaar and hop on a Cyclo for a leisure ride around to the boundaries of central Hoan Kiem district.

Day 2: Hanoi – Hoa Lu – Trang An – Hanoi (Meals: Breakfast, Lunch)
After your breakfast at hotel, you will transfer by private car to Ninh Binh province on a 2.5 hour ride. Arrive at Ninh Binh, you will visit Hoa Lu the ancient capital of Vietnam. You will walk to visit this beautiful temple, which dedicated to a Vietnamese heroic king, Dinh Tien Hoang, who reigned the ancient Vietnam in the 10 century. Strolling around and learn the typical architecture of Vietnamese religious buildings and a bit about Vietnamese history after a thousand years under the Chinese domination. Climb to the nearby mountain for the panorama view over the karst landscape in the area. Enjoy your Vietnamese lunch at local restaurant.
In the afternoon, you will visit Trang An Eco-Tourism Complex which is a complex of beautiful landscapes called as an 'outdoor geological museum' with numerous caves, mountains, valley water, trees and the historic relic. Trang An proudly was recognized as UNESCO site early 2014 for its natural beauty and historical value. In Trang An, you will take 02 hour ride on little sampan rowing by locals. The ride on sampan on the river will be simple peaceful atmosphere mixed with stunning karst mountain landscape. The ride will also go through 12 tunnel caves through mountains and stop by variety temples dedicated to local heroes. After the tour in Trang An, you will transfer by car to Hanoi city. You will then go to local restaurant for dinner which is on your own. Overnight in Hanoi city.
Day 3: Hanoi – Mai Chau (Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)
Depart at 8.30am from your hotel and head towards Mai Chau. The ride from Hanoi to Mai Chau takes about 3.5 hours, and you won’t be bored by the lush scenery. Around noon, you will arrive at Mai Chau and enjoy a freshly prepared lunch with the afternoon free to relax or you might like to take an optional cycling tour of the surrounding valley.
As you’ll discover, Mai Chau offers a mix of culture and adventure set against one of Vietnam’s most striking backdrops. There are waterfalls, towering limestone mountains, rice paddies, corn fields, bamboo groves and terraced tea plantations. Relax at the lodge, a rustic-but-comfortable retreat with an outdoor pool and Roman-style Jacuzzi. Enjoy a dinner of Vietnamese and international dishes, followed by traditional dancing by members of the local ethnic-minority group.
Day 4: Mai Chau – Hanoi (Meal: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)
After breakfast at the lodge, take a gentle trek to Lac and Pom Coong, two villages of the Thai ethnic group. Meet the villagers and enjoy a chat over a cup of tea to learn about their culture and traditions. This is a unique experience where you will get to peek into their homes and watch traditional farming methods up close. Finally, end your Mai Chau Valley Break with lunch at the lodge before returning to Hanoi returning late afternoon.
By late afternoon, you will enjoy your dinner at Vietnamese Buffet Restaurant in which you can choose variety of Vietnamese traditional foods or BBQ or fresh seafood. Indulge yourself with a feast of great food and you will overnight in Hanoi.
Day 5: Hanoi Departure (Meals: Breakfast)
After having breakfast at your hotel, you will transfer to Noi Bai international airport for your departure flight leaving Vietnam. End of services.
